This is the home page for The Ohio State University Alumni Club of the East San Francisco Bay. For members and non-members alike, this site is a great way to keep in touch with what the club is up to. Find out who we are, where we are, and when and what we're doing.

Come out and join us for a local game watch or other social event. There's nothing quite like enjoying the Buckeye spirit with lots of other fellow Buckeyes.

If you'd like to join, our club is always open. You don't actually need to be an alumni of Ohio State to join.  So long as your favorite colors are scarlet and gray, we're always welcoming new members.

As I'm sure you know, the Buckeyes are coming to California in mid-September to take on the Trojans of USC. The Bucks are scheduled to play USC in Los Angeles on September 13th. Of course, this game promises to be a classic matchup. I know lots of folks are planning to drive down to be in the atmosphere, even if they can't attend the game in person.

Tickets:

Unfortunately, the Main Alumni Association only has limited tickets, and they will not be providing our club with any for general distribution. If you have connections to USC, that may be a good way to find a ticket. Otherwise, you can go to StubHub or Ebay to buy one. Prices are as low as $200 from what I've seen so far:

Buckeye Bash:

There will be a Buckeye Bash, although there is no food or drink lined up yet. On the flip side, it only costs $10 to get in. You can purchase tickets here:

If you'd like to go, I'd advise buying your ticket early. In Seattle last fall, this event sold out.

Folks are organizing the Annual Big Ten Picnic.  It is still early in the planning effort, however, it looks like it will be held October 20th in San Francisco.  I will keep you updated as more details are finalized.  If you would like to help organize this event, I'd be happy to get some help -- just let me know.
